Ingredients:

(1) One cup of moong dal (approx 120 gms)
(2) One Gourd (any) (approx 300gms)
(3) One medium sized onion (chopped into small pieces)
(4) Two tomatoes cut into small pieces
(5) Oil (6 spoon), Mustard (1 spoon), jeera (1 spoon), urud dhal (1 spoon),
two chilly (cut along length), 1/2 spoon of salt.

Preparation:

(1) Wash moong dal and take it in a cooker. Pour 3 parts of it with water
(2) Cut Gourd into small pieces (cube sized) and put in cooker. Pour 2 more cups of water
(3) Add 2 tbl spoon of chilly powder and pinch of turmeric powder and finally
2 spoon of salt.
(4) Pressure cook the above mix. Leave 6 whistles or 8 whistles (depends upon yours).
(5) When pressure cook is about to complete, start with a fry pan for
tempering [all items in ingredients (5) in same order]. Then onion
and tomatoes.
(6) Once onion and tomatoes are fully cooked , open the cooker and add the tempered
stuff and allow boiling for 5 minutes.
Done
If you like gourd very much, better lessen dal content and add more gourd.
